Better Business Bureau is issuing an urgent SCAM alert cautioning businesses and consumers about an email that is purporting to be from Well Fargo. The email is regarding account verification. The email contains a dangerous link. This is a scam – Wells Fargo does not send unsolicited emails to update your records.
The email is fraudulent; ignore its contents and delete it immediately.
If you have already clicked on the link in the email, run a full virus scan of your computer.
